US ITC Mulls Ditching Chinese Steel Pipe Duties

The US International Trade Commission on Wednesday said it is reviewing whether revoking tariffs on certain steel pipes made in China would enable those products to again undersell American-made, competing goods and harm US industry.
The ITC said in a notice that it was instituting a five-year review of the orders, which paved the way for an anti-dumping duty of between 69.2% and 85.55% and a countervailing duty ranging from 29.5% to 615.9% to be placed on circular, welded, carbon-quality steel pipe.
