Commerce department had determined materials from France, Mexico, and South Korea were being sold unfairly

The US International Trade Commission (USITC) has found that US industry is not materially injured or threatened by imports of nitrile rubber from France, Mexico, and South Korea

The decision followed a US Department of Commerce (Commerce) determination that the materials were sold in the US at less than fair value.

As a result of the decision, “Commerce will not issue antidumping duty orders on imports of this product from France, Mexico, and South Korea,” said USITC’s 11 July ruling.

A report on the Commission’s decision will be issued by 22 Aug and made available on the USITC website.

Anti-dumping duty investigations were launched following petitioning by Zeon Chemicals LP and Zeon GP LLC, both of Louisville, Kentucky.
