US assigns final AD duty rate on rectangular welded steel pipes from South Korea’s HiSteel

According to the final result of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that South Korea’s HiSteel Co., Ltd. (HiSteel) sold its heavy walled rectangular welded steel pipes and tubes at prices lower than normal value in the US during the period of review from September 1, 2020 to August 31, 2021.
Therefore, the weighted-average dumping margin for HiSteel was set at 2.80%, applicable from March 2, 2023.
The subject goods are classified under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) item subheading 7306.61.1000 and may also be under 7306.61.3000.
