Turkey imposes temporary anti‑dumping measure on Chinese imports
15/12/2025 05:33
Turkey’s Trade Ministry announced that a temporary anti‑dumping measure has been introduced on certain Chinese products following an investigation by the Directorate General of Imports.
The ministry said the probe found preliminary evidence that imports classified under customs tariff code 8541.90.00.00.11 were being dumped and causing material harm to domestic producers.
Based on findings and a decision by the Board for the Evaluation of Unfair Competition, customs authorities will collect guarantees on the products when they enter free circulation.
The temporary measure will remain in place for up to six months, until a final decision is published in the Official Gazette.
During that period, officials will assess whether lower permanent duties would be sufficient to prevent injury.
