Thailand has announced its final decision for anti-dumping investigations into certain hot dip plated or coated with aluminum zinc alloy of cold rolled steel and painted hot dip galvanized of cold rolled steel imported from Vietnam, according to the Vietnam Competition Authority.
Accordingly, it will impose anti-dumping duties of 4.3%-60.26% on certain hot dip plated or coated with aluminum zinc alloy of cold rolled steel and 6.2% - 40.49% on cold rolled steel in five years.
Thailand has begun anti-dumping investigations into products imported from Vietnam since September 2015 upon receiving a request from the NSW.Bluescope Company.
Experts said steel sheet and steel are facing the highest number of anti-dumping lawsuits, noting that prolonged lawsuits may drive businesses to the loss of export markets and narrowed production.
