Steel main target amid 28% surge in AD probes - WTO

According to the statistics of World Trade Organization, 208 anti dumping investigations were launched in the year of 2008 up by 28%YoY from previous year.
Of which, one three of the investigations have China involvement. And India was the country who launched the most cases following with Brazil and Turkey.
Steel products are the major targets of anti dumping investigations. It is anticipated the anti dumping measures would increase evidently this year which is now drawing much concern that the trade protectionism would further worsen the world economy.
