Pakistan: End of anti-dumping duty demanded

Multan Chamber demanded for issuance of a notification for ending the anti-dumping duty on the import of polyester.
In a statement issued here Muhammad Khan Saddozai said that National Tariff Commission (NTC) had imposed provisional anti-dumping duties for a period of four months on imports of polyester filament yarn (PFY) into Pakistan originating in or exported from Indonesia, China, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand, which had ended on April 21, 2013, as per announcement; but, FBR did not omit this duty from its record and importers are still facing hardships in clearance of their polyester.
