Notice of consultation on Draft of United States’s Energy Conservation Standards for Miscellaneous Refrigeration Products.

On January 24, 2017, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam (VCCI) has received a Notice of the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality on consultation of enterprises on the Draft of United States’s Energy Conservation Standards for Miscellaneous Refrigeration Products.
There are some main contents as follow:
On November 2, 2016, United States announced the Draft of Energy Conservation Standards for Miscellaneous Refrigeration Products under Energy Conservation Program. Under the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT), the all members of the WTO, including Vietnam, can make comments on this Draft when identifying the possibility of unnecessary trade’s obstacles.Individuals, enterprises, and other relevant organizations can make comments, present difficulties on the Draft, especially in case of identifying any capable of unnecessary trade’s obstacles when exporting goods to United States.
Reasonable time for other Members to make comments until 15/02/2017.
