Malaysia starts AD reviews on CRC imports from South Korea, Vietnam

Malaysia launched administrative reviews of anti-dumping (AD) duties on cold-rolled coil (CRC) imports from South Korea and Vietnam.
The products involved in one review are alloyed and non-alloyed CRC, with a thickness of 0.20-2.60mm and a width of 700-1,300mm, classified under HS codes 7209.15.00 00, 7209.16.10 00, 7209.16.90 00, 7209.17.10 00, 7209.17.90 00, 7209.18.99 00, 7225.50.10 00, and 7225.50.90 00. The final AD duty rate is up to 33.7%, valid for five years until October 8, 2026.
Products covered in the other review are alloyed and non-alloyed CRC of more than 1,300 mm width, under HS codes 7209.15.00 00, 7209.16.90 00, 7209.17.90 00, and 7209.18.99 00, with a final AD duty of up to 20.13%, valid under December 24, 2024.
The final ruling of the reviews was expected to finalize within 180 days from the date of initiation.
