Japan makes final AD ruling on hot-dip galvanized iron wires from China, South Korea

On December 8, 2022, the Japanese Ministry of Finance made an affirmative final ruling of anti-dumping (AD) on hot-dip galvanized iron wires originating in China and South Korea, ruling that the products from the two countries were dumped and caused substantial damage to the Japanese domestic industry.
Therefore, an AD duty of 26.5%-41.7% was assigned to China and 9.8%-24.5% to the subject products from South Korea. This measure will be valid from December 8, 2022 to December 7, 2027.
The products involved are under HS code 721720.
The AD investigation on China and South Korea’s hot-dip galvanized iron wires was launched on June 14, 2021.
