Indonesia has recently announced that they would shift their seafood export to EU market unless China removed their ban on seafood from this country.
On August 3rd, China issued the import ban on seafood export from Indonesia due to the existence of antibiotic residues. Right after this move, on Monday, Indonesia also retaliated by releasing list of prohibited “made in China” products.
Indonesia has established seafood trade cooperation with many EU countries, namely Denmark, Germany and other countries in Eastern Europe.
