Establishing delegation group for inspecting Moc Cat Tuong Company applying HS code for exported rubber wood item

On August 4, the Office of the Ministry of Finance sent an announcement about the directive of Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung regarding the application of HS code for exported rubber wood panels.
To ensure objectivity and fairness between the interests of the State and businesses, and at the same time facilitate and remove difficulties for businesses in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung directed the Director General of Vietnam Customs to work with the Tax Policy Department and the Legal Department to invite representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam Timber and Forest Products Association to establish a delegation to conduct physical inspection at Moc Cat Tuong joint stock company on the application of HS codes to the exported rubber wood panel which is shaved and sanded (size 44 x 1,100 x 4,500 mm) and already horizontally assembled from the first assembled bars, must be further processed to make flooring boards, stairs.
The delegation focused on dialogue with businesses, business associations and coordinated with agencies to define the manufacturing process, product processing, product specifications on a specific principle, publicity, transparency and fairness to decide on the appropriate application of HS codes to the products, and report to the Minister before August 15.
