It is reported that China seamless steel pipe export is heavily impacted by EU and US’s antidumping cases recently.
Reporters from CRI Online learnt that all the related enterprises attending at the 106th Canton Fair unveiled that, their seamless steel pipe exports to EU and US have witnessed a sharp decrease.
Mr Sun Tao sales manager of Shanghai Kingnor Imp & Exp Co said "The loss on such two markets must strike other steel markets as steel traders have to pour those steel pipes to other areas and as a result, steel price on other markets will certainly drop."
Mr Li Xiaojun with Hebei Machinery Imp & Exp Co said that the present steel price fall is quite transparent therefore producers can no longer cut their price but to wait for governments’ relative policies on such AD cases.
He said that "It is impossible to slash steel price this year. We have to wait for the nation’s policy on capacity restriction. It will be much better if the government can give us subsidy or provide a loan."
