China: MOFCOM Launched Anti-Dumping Investigation against Seamless Alloy-Steel Tubes and Pipes

The Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) released Announcement No.24, 2013 on May 10 on its decision to launch an anti-dumping investigation against imports of Certain Alloy-Steel Seamless Tubes and Pipes for High Temperature and Pressure Service originated from EU, Japan and US.
The investigation was followed by the petition of China’s Certain Alloy-Steel Seamless Tubes and Pipes for High Temperature and Pressure Service industry, and the products to be investigated are under the Tariff No 73045110, 73045190, 73045910 and 73045990 under Import and Export Tax Regulations of the People's Republic of China. Other steel products under the tariff number that do not meet the specific description of the investigated products are not subject to the investigation.
MOFCOM willin line with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Anti-dumping, start investigation on dumping and dumping margin of the said products, as well as the injury and its extent to industry of Certain Alloy-Steel Seamless Tubes and Pipes for High Temperature and Pressure Service in China. The investigation starts from May 10, 2013, and will be ended as of May 10, 2014 in normal circumstances, and might be extended to November 10, 2014 under special circumstances.
