BEIJING, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- China will impose anti-dumping duties on ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether imported from the United States and the European Union for five years starting on Jan. 28, a government statement said.
The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) ruled that anti-dumping practices exist in ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether imported from the U.S. and EU, the ministry said in the statement on Friday.
Chinese producers have suffered material injuries from the dumping of the U.S. and EU during the investigation period, the statement said.
Chinese importers of those products will have to pay duty rates from 9.3 percent to 18.8 percent for those products from the U.S. and EU, it said.
The ministry initiated anti-dumping probes into those products in November 2011 and preliminarily ruled to adopt temporary anti-dumping measures on July 2012.
