China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has begun an anti-dumping investigation on Adipic Acid imported from Korea, Europe Unit and America. Its HS code is 29171200.

As per Article 24 of Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Anti-dumping, MOC shall, on the basis of their findings, make a preliminary determination on dumping, injury, whether a causal link exists between dumping and injury, and publish the preliminary determinations. Now the following information as bellows:

Preliminary determination:

The official found that the AA stocks originated from Korea, Europe Union and America exist dumping and injure domestic AA productions in China. In addition, a causal line exists between dumping and injury.

Levy deposit:

According to Article 28 and Article 29, MOC decides to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty. Effectively from June 27, 2009, importers who import AA from Korea, EU and America shall provide deposit. The specific deposits rates of different companies are as follows:
