Canada Interim Rulings on Copper Pipe Fittings from China, US, S. Korea

On February 8, Canada Border Services Agency announced its final rulings for Canadian antidumping interim review on copper pipe fittings from China, the USA, and South Korea and for Canadian anti-subsidy interim review on such China fittings, as follows:
Regarding the respondents by submitting completed questionnaire, the normal value of their products can be determined as per the information they presented, including the enterprises: Zhuji City Howhi Air Conditioners Made Co., Ltd. from China, USA-based Elkhart Products Corporation, Mueller Industries Inc., and Nibco Inc., and South Korean Jungwoo Metal Ind. Co., Ltd.;
Regarding the enterprises failing to reply the questionnaire, the normal value of their products should be determined by export price times 242%.
Other Chinese enterprises have the subsidy of CNY 17.73/kg.
On June 8, 2006, the Agency started the antidumping and anti-subsidy probes under HS codes 74121000.11, 74121000.19, 74121000.20, 74122000.11, 74122000.12, 74122000.19 and 74122000.20.
