Anti-dumping duty on sheet glass imports from China

NEW DELHI, MAR 14: The Finance Ministry has imposed definitive anti-dumping duty on "sheet glass" imports from China.
Based on the recommendations of the Designated Authority in the commerce ministry, the revenue department has imposed an anti-dumping duty of $ 63 per tonne on "sheet glass" imports from China.
This anti-dumping duty will be valid for a period of five years.
Bharat Glass Tube Limited had filed the petition seeking an anti-dumping duty on "sheet glass' imports from China.
The latest revenue department move does not cover float glass.
